During 3 DaysofDesign 2026, Mazo, DCW éditions, and Modelec introduce a new showroom partnership at Mazo’s showroom in Dronningegården, Copenhagen.
Rooted In Time
The collaboration is launched through the exhibition ROOTED IN TIME – a presentation of objects spanning decades and origins, brought together not by style, but by a shared attitude: design as something lived with, not consumed.
In a world defined by excess and constant replacement, the exhibition proposes another way forward: to add with intention, to choose fewer but better objects, and to build spaces slowly – with depth, continuity, and care.

Pieces from different decades occupy the same space - not to contrast, but to reveal continuity. ROOTED IN TIME is a timeless concept, where design is anchored in time but never confined by it.
The exhibition reflects a belief that meaningful spaces are created through conscious choices - to add with intention rather than replace, and to let design span generations..

A living landscape
ROOTED IN TIME unfolds as a living landscape rather than a fixed collection. Like a carefully tended garden, every object begins somewhere – some deeply rooted, others newly planted.
Together, they form an environment where past and present coexist naturally, not in contrast, but in continuity. The classics provide structure and depth. New works take their place along side them.
Nothing is static, nothing is final.
Instead, design is understood as something constantly evolving, shaped by use, context, and time.
Open Air Jazz
Join us for an open-air jazz session Thursday June 11 from 4–6 PM and experience our joint exhibition ROOTED IN TIME in Mazo’s showroom at Dronningegården. We will serve refreshing drinks from Biowine and Nørrebrew.
Enjoy an afternoon in the midst of three busy design days - under the trees - slow down, relax, and take it in.

Within the exhibition, Mazo presents their MAG Chair – first previewed last year and now fully integrated into the collection.

upholstered for comfort, easy to maintain, and designed for disassembly and recycling – without compromising comfort, materials, or the experience of luxury.

During the three days, you will have the opportunity to win wonderful prizes by participating in the showroom.
Each day, two winners will be selected. You can win either a mirror from Mazo’s RAE Mirror Collection or a lamp from DCW éditions.
