Work is evolving. The way we work has transformed drastically due to digitalization, global events, and a reevaluation of priorities. Yet, physical workplaces often remain rooted in tradition. How can we explore these spaces to balance productivity with creativity, solitude with collaboration?

THE HUB

THE HUB was more than just a temporary showroom redesign for a design fair – it was a fully functional workplace created for those working during 3daysofdesign.

Visitors could start their day with a coffee from The Bodum Lab, settle into the comfortable furniture, and get work done before heading out into the city. Many used the space to meet with colleagues, return for a cocktail served outside on the traditional cobblestone pavement, or simply drop by to unwind.

With a welcoming atmosphere and attentive hosts, THE HUB became a calm and inspiring base during the hectic design week – a space that proved how work, design, and hospitality can coexist in a thoughtful, modern setting.

During 3DaysOfDesign in Copenhagen, Mazo's showroom at Dronningegården transformed into THE HUB, a dynamic workspace created in collaboration with Mazo and Bodum and conceptualized and designed by Studio Nathalie Schwer. More than just a traditional work hub, this project served as a "work lab", exploring how modern workspaces function today. The goal was to create a space that adapts to daily needs - where people could connect, thrive, meet, and work.

It's in the details

THE HUB brings this vision to life by demonstrating how well designed objects, both big and small, can enrich everyday moments. From the ritual of freshly brewed coffee served in thoughtfully crafted tableware to the comfort of a well designed chair - every detail matters in shaping an inspiring and functional workspace.

THE HUB - After Hours

We hosted the event AFTER HOURS together with Bodum with espresso martinis and inspiration at THE HUB in Mazo’s showroom at Dronningegården during 3DaysOfdesign where you could wind down, connect, and experience the future of work, after hours.

MAG Chair Collection

A standout highlight this year is the exclusive preview of our upcoming MAG Chair Collection – a new series designed for professional spaces, featuring a swivel chair, dining chair, and barstool. Rooted in comfort and adaptability, the collection is tailored to meet the evolving needs of modern work environments.

The MAG Chair will be available from Fall 2025, but you can experience it firsthand – only in our showroom in Copenhagen.
