Thank you!

Mazo traces its roots back to the midcentury modern design, which began in the 1930s and has greatly influenced our approach to functionality, elegance, and simplicity, evident in our furniture design. We draw inspiration from the movement's rich art and cultural heritage and have always recognized the artistic value of combining iconic and inspiring elements as part of our legacy.

Mazo's Modernism

at 3daysofdesign 2023

In this year's 3daysofdesign exhibition at Møntergade 5 in Copenhagen, we continued our exploration of MODERNISM as our central theme. Specifically, we emphasized the collaboration between architects and craftsmen, recognizing its vital role during the Danish furniture golden age in the 1930s. Within this context, we showcased a range of innovative designs that push the boundaries of craftsmanship techniques to achieve the seemingly impossible. A captivating example of this was the relaunch of a lounge classic from 1932, originally created by architect Magnus Læssøe Stephensen. Our commitment to artistic composition and innovation was showcased in our latest exhibition during 3daysofdesign on Møntergade, where we delved into the interplay between craftsmen and designers.
